I’m willing to admit that the number of books, stacked precariously high atop my nightstand, has gotten a touch out of control. 🙈 Hand over heart, there are presently 18… one of which isn’t technically ‘on’ my nightstand as much as it is propped against it on the floor...

But I’m including it because 18 just sounds better, no?

For someone who has always been - and will likely always be - a handful-of-books-at-a-time kinda girl, Kon Mari’ing my nightstand down to the essentials was for reeeeal a challenge. 😭

My version of adulting seems to consist of spending (what feels like) all of my money on coffee table books and fresh flowers... If you’re a coffee table book collector like me, tell me which you most recently purchased or which one you’ve got your eyes on below 👇🏻

I haven’t been “living my best life.”

But I suppose I wonder if any of us truly are. We work shamelessly late, glued to our laptops and iPhones.

We rush from morning pilates to lunch meetings. From the dry-cleaners, to the post office. From Whole Foods for a bottle of wine (or three) to a networking event or dinner meeting.

Alas - home - to work more...
