Sunday’s are the heart and soul of my weekend. A Sunday evening spent listening to one of my favorite podcasts with a face-mask on? Be still my heart!
I’m a grown-up, and grown-up Sunday’s I shall have.
I’ll save the small talk and get down to business. Here are my recommendations for your very own #selfcaresunday!
If you don’t yet own a silk pillowcase - immediately - do whatever it takes to upgrade your life!
For anyone unfamiliar, I’m quite the advocate for investing in your skincare. As "they" say: your face is your base.
If you haven’t heard, Summer Fridays is currently the “it” brand within the beauty sphere. If you read my ‘Skincare Snob’ post, you’re well aware of my love for the Jetlag Mask… But don’t take my word for it. Vogue, The Cut and New York Magazine all back me up.
Next up? Sol De Janeiro’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. It’s garnered a cult following for firming and smoothing skin (and smells like a tropical vacation!) Take it or leave it, but I think you should definitely take it.
Not sponsored by either - just love, love, LOVE these products!

Friendly heads-up: If you’re not yet obsessed with one or more of the following podcasts, you’re late to the game.
Hands-down my #1 go-to recommendation at the moment is Second Life by My Domaine.
Of course, I wholeheartedly recommend The Goop Podcast (no surprise), Work Life with Adam Grant, The High Low, Pardon My French, The Bitch Bible, One Quick Thing, Masters of Scale, and Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations. Self-explanatory.
I also have to take a moment and tell you about how obsessed I am with In the Limelight by Vanity Fair podcast. SO GOOD.

On my nightstand, you’ll find these five (yes, five) books. If you missed it, check out my Well Read list for August, and stay tuned for September’s.
It’s. So. Hot. in Nashville, y’all. You’re likely sick of hearing it, but it’s pretty miserable.
Spending any length of time outdoors is out of the question. Bringing the outdoors in seems to be the only logical solution. Trader Joe's has a wide variety of options at such a great price. What’s not to love?!
Date Night at Home
Here’s the truth: sometimes the thought of getting dressed for Sunday dinner reservations feels like such a chore!
I received Gwyneth Paltrow's collection of cookbooks (It’s All Easy, It’s All Good and My Father’s Daughter) for Christmas - and cannot get enough of GP’s recipes. They’re my go-to for a slow Sunday evening.
