A La Croix Pamplemousse Paloma

Low Calorie La Croix Pamplemousse Paloma Cocktail \\  Alexandrea Jarvis - Nashville, Tennessee

Happy Monday! I hope you've had a great weekend.

Nashville has been ungodly hot these past few weeks. Blistering. It's reaching record-breaking highs all over the South and my cabin fever (also at a record high) has resulted in both an excess of online shopping and Kon Mari'ing the house. I'm choosing to believe they cancel each other out.  If you haven't  read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, you're missing out. Life Changing, for sure - and under ten dollars. I'm now very much into folding laundry... words I assumed would never grace my lips.

Anyways. It's hot. AF.

I wanted to share my tried and true favorite for quick, easy, and low-calorie paloma - with Pamplemousse La Croix, of course! For anyone into La Croix (and who isnt?!), this paloma is the quintessential summer cocktail. A simple and refreshing new take on a classic, it's been a huge hit at my house this Summer. It seriously doesn't disappoint. Delicious? Certainly. Even better? It's impossibly easy to put together.

Read below for this simple low-calorie La Croix cocktail recipe, perfect for entertaining friends al fresco - all Summer long!

Side note, but related:

I'm collaborating with Juice Nashville on an upcoming project and picked up a few Juices to try out Friday afternoon. I kicked off Sunday morning with C Ya, a mix of orange, grapefruit, apple and ginger I'm certain would make for the most decadent of mimosas. So. Good.

I shared a sneak-peak over on my Instagram stories, so make sure we're Instagram official.

La Croix Pamplemousse Paloma Recipe

1 oz. tequilia (we love Casamigos Anejo Blanco tequila)

3 oz. grapefruit juice

Splash-ish of pamplemousse la croix

lime (just a pinch!)

garnish with a slice of lime or grapefruit

1  \\  Run a lime wedge along the rim of your glass and dip in salt (if you so choose) before mixing up your drink!

2  \\  Combine the tequila, grapefruit juice, pamplemousse La Croix and a pinch of lime juice - shake, or stir - and pour into your salt-rimmed glass.

3  \\  Garnish with a slice of lime or grapefruit.

I'm always on the hunt for new delicious cocktail recipes to try, so link your favorite below and I can promise I will give it a try... unless it is overwhelmingly whiskey-y.

In other news - I've started curating all the items I find to be 'Worth Noting' and featuring them on Instagram Stories - look for them at noon on Tuesday's and Thursday's. I didn’t spread the word too much on social media when it went up, so thought I’d mention in case you missed it.

Again - hope you had a great weekend, friends!

are we instagram official yet?!
