Hand over heart, there are presently 18… one of which isn’t technically ‘on’ my nightstand as much as it is propped against it on the floor. A La Croix Pamplemousse Paloma

Nashville has been ungodly hot these past few weeks. Blistering. It's reaching record-breaking highs all over the South and my cabin fever (also at a record high) has resulted in both an excess of online shopping and Kon Mari'ing the house. I'm choosing to believe they cancel each other out.  If you haven't  read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, you're missing out. Life Changing, for sure - and under ten dollars. I'm now very much into folding laundry... words I assumed would never grace my lips.

Dinner Party Devotee

I haven’t been “living my best life.”

But I suppose I wonder if any of us truly are. We work shamelessly late, glued to our laptops and iPhones.

We rush from morning pilates to lunch meetings. From the dry-cleaners, to the post office. From Whole Foods for a bottle of wine (or three) to a networking event or dinner meeting.

Alas - home… to work a bit more.
